Snapcomfax is Snapcom's eFax solution to send and receive faxes without using a fax machine. 

One (1) eFax account and eFax number are included with your service. Additional accounts and numbers can be added for an additional fee. 

Signing into

In your web browser, navigate to you should see this page:

Your username should have been provided to you when your Snapcomfax account was setup. It may also be the main email address for the account. If you do not know it, please contact Snapcom Support.

Your password is set up by you. If you forgot it, you can click on the Password Recovery link under the sign-in box. Follow the instructions below to reset your password.

Lastly, you'll be asked to complete a Security Question to Logon. You'll need to solve the math problem to logon.

Tip - Check the boxes for Remember My Username and Log Me On Automatically to speed up logging into Snapcomfax.

Password Recovery

When you click that link, you will be prompted to enter either the email or the username. Once you do that, click next.

When you hit next, the system will send a verification code to the main email for the account. Enter it in the verification code field, and provide a new password. Click Submit when you are finished.

With your username and password, you are now ready to login. Fill in the Username, Password, and Security Question and then click Logon. 

Sending Faxes

Once you are logged in, you should see your Snapcomfax dashboard like this:

Click Send a Fax to open the Send Fax Page 

The only required field to include here is the Fax Number you are sending the fax to. If you'd like to include a cover page with more info about the Subject, Notes, etc. Click the --select cover page-- dropdown and select CoverPage. Then fill in the fields that you'd like to include on the cover page. If you'd like to upload your own Cover Page, you can do that on the next page. 

When you've entered the info you'd like to include, click Next in the upper right hand corner

This next page will allow you to attach the document(s) you would like to send. Please make sure your attached documents are one of the accepted file formats: 

Accepted File Formats:
• Image Files (TIFF, GIF, PNG, JPEG)
• Adobe Acrobat Files (PDF)
• Microsoft Office Files (DOC, XLS, PPT)
• Printer File Formats (PCL, EPS, PS)
• Text Files (TXT, RTF, XML)
• Fax Cover Page Formats (FXC) 

Click Browse to attach the document(s) and then click Next 

The next page will show you what document(s) are attached so that you can review them. Click Next if they are correct. 

The final page will allow you to send the fax to additional recipients that can be either an email address or another fax number. If you are only sending to the original recipient, click Send

Your fax will now be queued to send to the recipient. You should see a confirmation page showing the number you sent the fax to, and the attachments included in the fax: 

Afterwards, you'll receive an email stating whether or not the fax sent successfully. This can take a few minutes. 

Viewing Sent and Received Faxes in the Snapcomfax Portal

To view recently sent and received faxes from within the Snapcomfax Portal, navigate to the Dashboard and double click on the fax you would like to view:

You can see the fax status, number, attachments from this page. You can also download, print, and forward the fax from this page: 

Searching For Faxes

If you'd like to search for faxes sent/received to a particular number, by date, and other search criteria, click on Search from the Snapcomfax Dashboard:

You should be taken to a page that looks like the picture below. This will show all faxes sent and received by default. 

For basic search criteria, click the dropdown next to view all faxes: 

For advanced search criteria, click the mceclip17.pngicon located next to the View All Faxes dropdown. You should see some new filters like this: 

To just view the fax, double click on the result and it will open up the view page for the fax 

Changing Notification Emails and Settings

To change which email(s) are notified whenever a fax is received, fax confirmations, and other settings, click on either Fax Settings or Update Profile:

From here, you can change the primary email, as well as notification settings. By default, Notify on Send: Email will send all fax confirmations, whether the fax was successfully sent or not. Notify on Receive: Email by default is set to send the successfully received fax with the attachment(s). Here is a screenshot to show these settings: 

Once you make the change, click save to ensure the changes are saved.

In some cases, you may want to notify multiple people when a fax is received. To do that, click on the Notifications tab at the top of the Settings page:

To add an additional email, follow the example above. First, input the email address that you'd like to include with notifications. Notify On Send should be set to all for the first dropdown and none for the second dropdown. Notify on Receive should be set to success for the first dropdown and attachment for the second dropdown.

You can add up to 5 additional emails to be notified besides the primary email. Once you've added the emails, click Save to save your changes.

Send Fax From Email

If you are the primary email account on the eFax account, you can send faxes directly from your email. In the "To" field, put in the number in this format:

The Subject Field and Body of the email will be shown as a cover page to the fax that is sent. Feel free to include any relevant details there 

Attach the document you need to send like you would via a normal email, and it will be what is sent as a fax to the recipient. Below is an example:
