SNAPphone for iOS

 You MUST log into the Snapcom portal first to use SNAPphone. Instructions for that can be found here: Accessing the Snapcom Portal 

Downloading the app

Click on the button above to go to the SNAPphone App Store Page

Click GET to download the SNAPphone app. You may be prompted for your Apple ID credentials if you do not have Face or Touch ID configured.

Logging into the app

Below is instructions for logging in and navigating SNAPphone for iOS

Once the app is downloaded, launch SNAPphone. You should see this login page:


The Login Name and Password are the same credentials used to login to the Snapcom Portal

Your Login Name is your extension followed by the company domain. For example, 125@mybusiness

Your Password is the password you set up to access the portal. Click here for help with resetting your Password, or follow the Forgot Password steps below.

Accept app permissions

You'll be prompted to accept app permissions for four permissions. Configuring the app outside of the recommended steps below can cause your mobile app to have issues or not function at all.

The first request is for SNAPphone to send you notifications. This is how you are notified when a call or voicemail comes to your phone. You must hit Allow

The second request is to allow SNAPmobile with Siri. This is optional

The third request is to allow access to your local contacts. This is optional

The last request is to allow access to your microphone. This allows SNAPphone to make and receive phone calls. You must hit OK

Once you've allowed access to the required permissions, your app will register and you will be able to make and receive calls.


Navigating the app

At the bottom of the app, you'll find quick links. These links will bring you to your domains (and if you allowed the permissions, local contacts), Voicemail, Instant Messaging to another user (Chat), your Call History, and a menu. Menu provides your login/log out feature, as well as other customizing options. 

Forgot Login Name

If you need help with your login info, click the Forgot login name? link

To retrieve your Login Name, you will be asked for the email associated with your account. If you do not have an account set up, please follow the instructions in this article Accessing the Snapcom Portal 

Forgot Password

To reset your password, click on the Forgot Password? link and follow the instructions below

To reset your password, enter your login name and a password reset link will be sent to you.
